Here we are months later and...

Well, Here we are the middle of september, I haven't pulled my cricut out of the bag for months... In fact I think it's still at my sister-in-laws. No Craft Ideas and I have to move in a little over two months so not like I have any crafting room. Oh on the dental front the first attempt at the implant failed so I have been 4 months waiting for new bone graft... I almost don't notice the flipper anymore other than when I take it out and put it in. I need a creative spark...but then when you are trying to get rid of stuff, making more stuff just doesn't appeal.

Coming into the home streatch

Well tomorrow I have a checkup to see how the bone is healing in my jaw in preparation for the Implant. I will then get the temporary implant on the 20th of May... Hopefully that all goes well because I leave town 5 days later. BAH! Anyway I have finally gotten used to having the flipper in my mouth... It's sort of just always there now... and I will probably miss it when I no longer have to use it. I will be glad to have the temporary implant but I hope it's strong enough because I am going to Vegas. Vegas=Buffets and Buffets=Eating!

Day 5 of the Dental Implant Saga

Hello Fellow Crafters - and other peeps. I doubt anyone really reads my blog but Since I am not doing much in the way of crafty things... Though I might.... I thought I would instead Give updates on the Dental Implant Saga. So I am on Day 5 of not having my front tooth. I wear a dental flipper... fancy name for a retainer with a tooth on the front. It has a mounting point at the back on the right side that is between to teeth and makes my gums there sore. But I am able to get through a day without too much trauma... an odd side effect is that because I am eating soft foods, Oatmeal, Cracked Wheat, Malt-O-Meal for breakfast, Cup O' Noodles fro lunch, and Spaghetti-O's or Mac-N-Cheese for Dinner, My Blood Glucose levels have almost normalized. I am also not Drinking as much soda as I don't want to disolve the stitches.

I will keep this updated as things develop
